Games Divas Play is based on the popular book of the same name written by Angela Burt-Murray. The series is described by Deadline as “a sexy, stylized drama about the L.A. high life, where everyone plays to win. A desperate basketball wife (London) trying to protect her family, a tenacious journalist (Obilom) struggling to rebuild a tarnished career, and a scandalous groupie (Posey) looking to become a star, find it’s murder trying to stay on top.”

Emmy-nominated television writer Vanessa Middleton (SNL, The Cosby Show, Girlfriends) wrote the pilot and will serve as executive producer alongside Edmonds, Burt-Murray and Kim Newton, known for her work on Gotham and The Blacklist.
