Laurence Fishburne and Marvel Unite for ‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ Animated Series

The comic book Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will soon be an animated series, according to Deadline. 

Black-ish and Grown-ish producer, Laurence Fishburne, has teamed up with Marvel to bring the comic book series to the silver screen.

The comic centers around Lunella Lafayette, a nine-year-old, African-American super-genius who “saves the day” with her “crimson-colored dinosaur.”

The show will be produced by Marvel Animation and Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy Productions.

No word yet on which Disney-owned channel the show will air on.
