The comic book Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will soon be an animated series, according to Deadline.
Black-ish and grown-ish producer Laurence Fishburne has teamed up with Marvel to bring the comic book series to the silver screen.
The comic centers around Lunella Lafayette, a 9-year-old African-American supergenius who “saves the day” with her “crimson-colored dinosaur.”
The show will be produced by Marvel Animation and Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy Productions.
No word yet on which Disney-owned channel the show will air.
