Video footage of a 15-year-old Black boy being violently arrested by two White Broward County Sheriff's Deputies sparked outrage on social media this past weekend.

Cellphone cameras captured the teen, identified as "Lucca" or "DeLucca" on social media, being slammed and repeatedly punched in the head Thursday after he had already been pepper-sprayed by the officers in Tamarac, Florida.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by BuzzFeed News, Deputy Christopher Krickovich accused the teen of taking "an aggressive stance" toward his partner, Sgt. Greg LaCerra, while they were in the middle of arresting another teen in a McDonald's parking lot.

"While I was dealing with the male on the ground, I observed his phone slide to the right of me and then behind me. I observed a teen wearing a red tank top reach down and attempt to grab the male student’s phone," Krickovich wrote.

The officers were reportedly responding to a call about a large group of teenagers preparing to fight outside of the restaurant, which Krickovich referred to as a popular after-school gathering place for local high school students.

On Saturday, video footage of the incident circulated on social media, where several notable celebrities voiced their outrage.

LeBron James took to Twitter writing, " So wrong!! Hurts me to my soul!! To think that could be my sons." The Los Angeles Lakers star added, "Scary times man."
