Tarana Burke was pushed to the limelight after being honored as TIME’s Person of the Year for her creation of #MeToo. To celebrate Women’s History Month, Levi’s teamed up with Girlgaze a California-based digital media company. Together they launched “#IShapeMyWorld” a series of short films which feature stories from the women’s point of view.
One of the films is “She’s Revolutionary” which is about Tarana Burke, a civil rights activist and creator of the #MeToo movement. Brittany “B.Monét” Fennell directs it. The short film gives a look into Burke’s life as an activist, a survivor, and mother.
