Madonna Apologies Over Image Appropriation

Madonna offers an apology of sorts over 'Rebel Heart' images

Following a recent social media gaffe in which she posted poorly doctored images of civil rights leaders in an effort to promote her forthcoming album, Rebel Heart, Madonna went online to offer an apology via Facebook.

“I’m sorry/I’m not comparing my self to anyone/I’m admiring and acknowledging there Rebel Hearts[sic],” begins Madonna, saying that her actions were not “a crime” or “racist,” nor did they intend to invoke any sort of comparison between said historical figures and herself.
