Whether or not to celebrate Halloween has been a topic of discussion in many Christian households for years, with stricter families choosing to forgo the pagan holiday. Still, plenty more enjoy All Hallow’s Eve, choosing to ignore the darker elements of it’s history in favor of an innocent night of fun for kids and adults alike.

Actress Meagan Good falls into the latter category, donning a sexy Catwoman suit for the holiday only to be called out by fans who felt the preacher’s wife was either dressed too provocatively or shouldn’t be celebrating at all.

The gorgeous star singled out a fan on her Instagram profile who believes “true Christians” shouldn’t be participating in a holiday with such strong ties to the occult. She responded that those who have done their research should know that Christians brought modern day Halloween celebrations to the forefront, and that it is more of a commercial holiday for families than anything else.

Good explained to another fan that while she is “madly, deeply in love with Jesus,” she considers herself to be a “free spirit who prefers relationship over religion.”
