Friends of the TV and radio personality shared the news of the accident and the extent of Ford’s injuries on social media including talk show host Claudia Jordan, who posted a photo of emergency personnel tending to Ford beside the totaled vehicle. Jordan also revealed that the 41-year-old, “doesn’t even remember this as she has a huge gash in her head and blood on the brain.” She also requested that anyone one with information come forward because the 18-wheeler is still at large.
According to Ford’s rep, “God and her seatbelt saved her life.” She is recovering under “constant observation” at a Los Angeles hospital.
