Mike Tyson still has some ill feelings toward his former promoter Don King. A video captured Saturday shows the boxing legend chucking his drink at King during the Boxing Hall of Fame Induction Weekend in Canastota, New York.
King walked by as Tyson sat onstage and greeted him with a friendly tap on the shoulder. In return, the boxer reached for his glass and chucked water at his former business partner.
The next day, Tyson explained the motivation behind his actions, saying, “[King] talked on there like he was my friend and that was just bullcrap.” The boxing champion acknowledged that what he did was “immature” and said from that day forward, he would be letting go of his “bitterness.”
