Blue Kimble, the star of Monogamy, a fiction series that pushes the boundaries of traditional marriage, sat down with Angela a cast member on Lifetime’s Seven Year Switch, a reality series that finds four married couples swapping partners as a form of couples therapy. She explained the decision to do switch therapy with her husband, Tony.

During a previous interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, the Monogamy actor said couples would “never willingly” switch partners until he watched the Lifetime series, in which Angela’s switch partner is Charles. Kimble expressed his shock after witnessing Angela go through moments in her marriage that he acted out on the scripted web series. However, she said it was a learning moment for her relationship because she and Charles are so much alike.

Seven Year Switch airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST and Monogamy can be watched on the Urban Movie Channel.
