Former talk show host Montel Williams recently shared his thoughts on daytime diva Wendy Williams and her impending divorce.
When asked by Us Weekly what advice he would have for the former radio jock about handling the public scrutiny that comes with celebrity break-ups, Montel shared his honest opinion, saying Wendy may have to face a bit of karma in that regard.
“Wendy’s show is so much different than mine, where she does a program that literally has for years now, honestly, belittled and put down people who are going through what she’s going through,” he said. “So it’s that crazy thought that needs to go through your head. Be careful who you point a finger at because you never know when one of them is pointing back.”
Wendy filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, last month in Essex County, New Jersey.
“Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time,” a personal representative of the current talk show host said in a statement to EBONY. “Kevin is supportive of Wendy, and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.”
