Nas and Kelis have been divorced since 2010, but just recently came to an agreement when it comes to custody of eight-year-old son Knight. Following the exchange of a few low blows by their attorneys, a judge has ordered the pair of exes to share joint legal and physical custody of the child, according to TMZ.
The agreement between the two parents is very specific, breaking down exactly when the “Made You Look” rapper and the “Milkshake” singer will be spending time with the 3rd grader. They will also alternate custody every year for Knight’s birthday, with Nas getting the even years while Kelis will spend time during the odd years.
TMZ also reports that the Queensbridge MC currently pays $8,000 per month in child support, with the Harlem songstress looking to increase the rate.
