Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Crowned the Top Grossing Actor of 2013
If you thought Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man 3 was the leading film of 2013—it doesn’t matter! Thanks to his roles in some of the biggest bangers of the year, Dwayne Johnson has been given another championship title: the highest grossing of actor of 2013—Forbes style. The Rock layeth the smackdown on all of our candy asses, starring in Fast & Furious 6, G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Pain & Gain and Snitch, all of which raked in a total $1.3 billion of those thangs. (“Can you smellllllllllllll what the Rock is cooking?” Yeah, that bread.) Go boo!
Nia Long to Star in WeTV’s First Scripted Series
I’m really starting to think Nia Long really is like one of those fine wines, because she’s past the 40 mark, but miss lady is still ooooh, ooooh, ooooh, killin’ ’em! (Lil Terio really should be getting paid for that.) Fresh off the success of The Best Man Holiday, every man’s 40-plus crush will co-star in WeTV’s first-ever scripted series, The Divide, which is currently in production. Long will play bada$$ Billie Page, the wife of Adam Page (Damon Gupton), a sharp district attorney. (Watch out now!)

Drake Finally Responds to Kendrick Lamar Diss
The long awaited remix to Future’s “S—t” dropped yesterday and it contained an even more anticipated verse from Drake, who decided to finally clap back at Kendrick Lamar, or so it seems. For those of you who reside on planet Pluto with Future, King Kendrick quaked the rap world with a venomous verse on Big Sean’s “Control” months ago, where he called out Drizzy (among others), and body-slammed the “sensitive rapper” during his cypher time at the BET Hip-Hop Awards.
Well, in an attempt to pick his face up off the floor, Mr. Sensitivity issued a sorta, kinda weak response to the Top Dawg leader, claiming K. Dot is only hot because he mentioned his name—and some other delicate crap. (And yes, he got clowned for it—by none other than the Twittersphere. Even Top Dawg’s head honchos felt sorry for his fragile efforts.) If I remember correctly, Drake once said, “Dis me and you’ll never hear a reply for it.” Well Aubrey, maybe you should’ve taken your own advice on that one.
