After being virtually absent from social media so far this year, Queens rapper Nicki Minaj has made her official return, letting her Barbs know they can expect not one, but two new collaborations from the “Only” MC.
The native New Yorker took to Instagram for the announcement, first revealing the cover art for new song, “Barbie Tingz.” Based on the title, we suspect the track will have island vibes, which are perfect for summer.
She followed that up with the cover art for second song, “Chun-Li,” inspired by the Street Fighter character of the same name.
Both tracks will hit the net at 10am PST/ 1pm EST on Thursday, April 12th. Minaj’s release will come six days after Cardi B’s debut album, Invasion of Privacy, which already has fans questioning her decision to drop new music this week.
