Former President Barack Obama and former Vice President Joe Biden are the protagonists of Hope Never Dies, a mystery thriller novel by New York Times best-selling author Andrew Shaffer.
The 300-page novel details a fictional story, in which Biden enlists Obama to help him unravel the mystery surrounding the death of his favorite railroad conductor after the 2016 presidential election. The novel plays up the widely adored relationship between the politicians.
According to Shaffer’s website, the story is “Part noir thriller and part bromance novel, Hope Never Dies is essentially the first published work of Obama/Biden fanfiction—and a cathartic read for anyone distressed by the current state of affairs.”
Hope Never Dies was released on July 11 and is available for purchase on Quirkbooks.com.
