Ouch.

On the brink of OWN’s growing success with shows such as the intense family-based drama, Queen Sugar and the church-centered Greenleaf, the network has been slapped with a serious lawsuit.

The claim? Sexual assault.

The suit was filed by a woman who says she was humiliated be her female supervisor during her pregnancy, The Wrap reports.

Filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, this week, OWN employee Rebecca Taylor claims that she started working for the company in November 2010 and has since suffered a string of harassing incidents from Nakisha Gowen, her supervisor.

Taylor stated in her filing, that during a breast-pumping session, in OWN’s designated pumping room, she was interrupted by Gowen who loudly knocked on the door, when she could have simply emailed or called her.

In addition, the plaintiff stated that Gowen would “discuss sexual topics in meetings” and reenact sex scenes form horror movies in graphic detail.

Gowen’s behavior toward Taylor became even more intrusive and offensive as she sexually assaulted her employee during a company meeting by “simulating that she was squeezing the plaintiff’s breasts.”

As a result, Taylor was described as being “mortified and humiliated.”

The lawsuit, which also cites sexual discrimination and pregnancy discrimination, seeks unspecified damages.
