If anyone in the glossy world of entertainment knows how to throw a party, it’s Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs. While many celebrities headed down to Orlando for the All-Star Game, the hip-hop mogul celebrated the 20th anniversary of the MGM Grand at Foxwood Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. In his usual fashion, Diddy invited a slew of famous friends to party the night away but around 2am, when the party was rapping up, things got out of hand. Jim Jones, who’s no stranger to being arrested, reportedly got into a fight with an intoxicated casino patron on Friday night. Details as to who started the argument are unclear, but both Jones and the patron’s respective crews jumped in and a brawl ensued. When police arrived, Jones was maced and arrested having to post a $40,000 bond to be released.
State police spokesman, J. Paul Vance said the “Love and Hip Hop” star was charged with assault to a trooper and breach of peace. Because nothing goes undocumented these days, a video clip of the incident can be found here. Although no official statement has been released from Jones’ camp, he did take to Twitter to voice his apathy. “This is gettin blown way out of proportion,” he said, adding “40k in bonds 1 night had a ball lets see of I can get that 40 back on the crap table wooord.”
