If you never got the chance to catch the critically acclaimed "Pariah," the film has been slated to release to DVD on April 24th, according to distributor Universal Home Video. Available to viewers in both standard format and blu-ray (although any special features have yet to be reported), the DVD will ideally spark a second wave of interest in director Dee Rees' indie darling. Because of the small range of theater release locations, many moviegoers eager to catch this film were unable to do so despite the amount of glowing reviews it received.

Breakout star Adepero Oduye already has future projects lined up based solely off of her astounding debut performance as a closeted lesbian teen from Brooklyn. Oduye has been garnering a great deal of buzz in the industry, most recently because of her appearance in Vanity Fair's annual Young Hollywood issue. This spring, everyone will be able to see why "Pariah" was praised by both critics and viewers alike.

Will sales for "Pariah" surpass expectations? Or will the groundbreaking film be snubbed once again?
