Curve models such as Tess Holiday and Ashley Graham have led the way in fashion becoming more inclusive of women of all sizes, but are big and tall men having the same moment?

Model Darnel Ghramm doesn’t believe so, which is why his new project, #WeAreBigAndTall, is so important to him. The plus-size model spearheaded the recreation of  Calvin Klein’s #MyCalvins A$AP Mob advertising campaign, sharing the images via Instagram.

Trust me when I say, “Believe in your f*cking self & you’ll be unstoppable!” What you think of yourself is way more important then what they think of you. So be mindful of your self talk, be good to yourself. Encourage yourself the same way you encourage others, your worth it. – @dghramm #wearebigandtall . “I immediately thought it would be cool to re-create the shoot for my birthday with a few friends,” Ghramm told Mic. “In the midst of planning, I was tagged in a post by @foreverfeminism. The image and caption read, ‘I’ve never seen a plus male model.'”

He continued, “We exist and we are constituted by many different things. Whether big, tall or simply fall outside of the world’s standards, we are all handsome and worthy. We must continue to push the boundaries and, unfortunately, we gotta work twice as hard to prove ourselves. We will eventually earn our spot, as wrong as that sounds.”
