A Virginia woman recently filed documents in Minnesota court claiming she believes pop icon Prince could possibly be her biological father, and she’s ready to become “The Purple One’s” official heir.
TMZ reports Snowe Melinda Saxman submitted court documents claiming she has “substantial physical, temperamental and aspirational similarities to Prince” that lead her to believe he could be her birth father. Saxman was adopted and never knew her real parents. She also believes she favors the songwriter and has a “musical prowess like her father.”
To further substantiate her claims, Saxman goes on to say she used a company called Family Tree DNA to run a background check on herself. She claims the results confirm she’s related to multiple members of his family. She says she didn’t match with the man himself because “his DNA’s not in the system.”
