The Lifetime network released the official trailer for Surviving R. Kelly, a six-hour docuseries exploring the abuse claims made against the R&B singer, on Monday.

The documentary is executive produced by writer, activist and filmmaker dream hampton and will trace Kelly’s life and career from 1970 to the present. Kelly’s accusers gave harrowing accounts of the alleged sexual, mental, physical and emotional abuse they experienced at the hand of the singer.

According to Rolling Stone,  the series features more than 50 interviews from Kelly’s ex-wife Andrea Kelly, ex-girlfriend Kitti Jones and brothers Bruce and Carey. John Legend, Wendy Williams, R&B singer Sparkle and #MeToo founder Tarana Burke also participated in the documentary.

“Some very brave black women have trusted us with their stories, their truth and their trauma,” hampton said in a statement. “They are survivors, and I’m honored to share their stories with the world.”

Surviving R. Kelly will air on Lifetime in three parts on Jan. 3 -Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
