Last Saturday, EBONY’s Women Up series made a stop in Atlanta to celebrate women of color making herstory in business and tech through their leadership and entrepreneurial spirit.
The event, sponsored by Hilton, HLN and EFFEN® Vodka, took place at the American Hotel. The event kicked off with special remarks by the city’s mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms. The guests partook of signature drinks during cocktail hour, which encouraged networking, before they listened to inspiring words from women who have made seats at the tables for themselves in various industries.
WSB-TV anchor Jovita Moore moderated the panel. The other speakers included:
