Love & Hip Hop started in New York City, but since Cardi B’s departure from the franchise, the original locale has had a tough time keeping up with the Atlanta and Hollywood casts. In an attempt to bring in new blood and bring back old fans, creator Mona Scott-Young will reportedly be cleaning house in NYC.
The cast will reportedly be scaled back “due to fights, not enough storyline, unnecessary fighting/lack of dialogue, or for being boring and uninteresting,” according to MTO.
Reportedly, these L&HH: NY cast members will be handed their pink slips.
JuJu ( will only make cameo appearances)
The much smaller cast will still include:
Ruben (Anais Husband)
Remy Ma (appearance will be scaled back)
Former cast members Joe Budden, Cyn Santana and Kimbella have reportedly been asked to return. Brooklyn rapper Maino and Harlem MC Dave East will also be joining the franchise with their significant others, according to EURWeb.
