Both Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar have a reputation for giving back. The “Humble” MC has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to sports, music and after school programs in the city of Compton while Riri’s Clara Lionel Foundation promotes education and arts internationally.
The former collaborators have now teamed up for the holidays, as the Bajan beauty joined the west coast spitter in Watts, California for Top Dawg Entertainment’s annual holiday concert and toy drive.
The duo performed fan favorite “Loyalty” from Lamar’s Grammy-nominated album, DAMN, as well as “Lemon” off of N.E.R.D.’s new No_One Ever Really Dies album. The pop diva then went on to perform her song with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller, “Wild Thoughts.”
Top Dawg Entertainment is home to Lamar, SchoolBoy Q, SZA and more. Check out footage from the charity show below.
