Rihanna, Lupita Nyong’o to Star in Ava DuVernay Directed Film

What would a film starring Rihanna and Lupita Nyong’o look like? Well we will soon find out, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Netflix has landed a film project that will star the two divas in a story based on a viral meme of the two that surfaced online in 2014.

The pair was captured sitting next to each other at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week. Soon after, the photo inspired comments on social media that proposed a heist movie where the “Pour It Up” singer and Nyong’o scam the rich out of their money.

The untitled film will be directed by Ava DuVernay and Insecure creator, Issa Rae is in talks to write the script.
