Rihanna has taken a step back from music to launch widely successful fashion and beauty companies that include her Fenty Beauty line and Savage X Fenty lingerie brand. Now, the pop star is reportedly set to launch a luxury fashion house, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

According to the fashion-industry trade journal, Rihanna and LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE,  a French multinational luxury goods conglomerate, have had secret meetings about the venture.

Through the deal, the singer-turned-mogul would offer ready-to-wear collections, leather goods and accessories.

Multiple sources revealed that LVMH had recruited internal employees from Louis Vuitton and Celine, to work on the rumored partnership. The establishment of the brand would make it the first fashion brand in more than 30 years launched by LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault.

Earlier this week, several fans speculated a new fashion project from Rihanna after she was spotted in New York City wearing gold shades with her Fenty logo etched across the frames.

Neither LVMH nor Rihanna's team have commented on the potential fashion brand, but it would come as no surprise if rumors are true because the 31-year-old has been known as a style and beauty maven for much of her career. Before heading her own companies, she had successful collaborations with  MAC, Dior, Puma and Manolo Blahnik.

Rihanna's ninth studio album is expected to drop later this year.
