Two Suspects Arrested for Robbing Safaree Samuels at Gunpoint

Good news for Brooklyn rapper and reality show star Safaree Samuels, as the two men he believes held him up at gunpoint have been arrested.

Jonathan Ricketts and Shawn Harewood were pursued by police from New Jersey into New York, where the subjects crashed their car and attempted to flee on foot. Both men were then caught and arrested, according to The Jasmine Brand.

A shaken Samuels shared the sad news of the robbery with Angie Martinez just hours after it occurred, saying the thieves took over $150,000 worth of jewelry. Through tears, the Love & Hip Hop cast member revealed, “Two dudes with guns ran up on me. They had me face down on the floor with a gun to my head. They just took everything.”

“I was laid out on the floor waiting until I knew nobody was standing over me and ran. It’s traumatizing, it just keeps replaying.”
