In a shocking turn of events, British-born singer Seal has been accused of sexual battery just days after blasting Oprah Winfrey and admitted Hollywood predator Harvey Weinstein.
The 54-year-old is being investigated by police and denying any wrongdoing, according to The Jasmine Brand.
Actress Tracey Birdsall claims the two were neighbors, and Seal attempted to force himself on her during a visit to his home. They were in his kitchen when he allegedly lunged at her
Birdsall says she shouted at him, “What are you doing?” to which he responded, “I’m kissing you!”
Seal allegedly went on to belittle her for her attire, essentially saying she asked for it by wearing shorts and a tank top to his home. He reportedly groped her breasts and she told him to stop.
Then, the actress claims, the vocalist invited her to sit on the couch next to him, and she complied because she was in shock. Once again, he began to make fun of her clothes and grope her. She then left and reportedly hasn’t been in contact with him since.
Birdsall decided to speak out following Seal’s recent call out to Hollywood for hypocrisy, saying the “Kiss From a Rose” singer falls right in line with the people he claims to have an issue with.
A rep for Seal has released the following statement:
“Seal vehemently denies the recent allegations made against him by a former neighbor for alleged misconduct more than a year ago. He intends to vigorously defend himself against these false allegations.”
