Serena Williams is kicking butt and taking names once again, as the tennis superstar made her return to the US Open this week killing the competition while rocking a tutu by Off-White.

Following her win against Magda Linette, Williams revealed during a press conference that their family wouldn’t be celebrating baby Alexis Olympia’s first birthday due to her religious beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness.

When asked if she already had a birthday party planned for the infant, Williams replied, “Olympia doesn’t celebrate birthdays. We’re Jehovah’s Witnesses, so we don’t do that.”

Serena’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, converted to the religion as well, The Jasmine Brand reports. According to the site, Williams had this to say about her hubby and religious beliefs:

“Being a Jehovah’s Witness is important to me, but I’ve never really practiced it and have been wanting to get into it. Alexis didn’t grow up going to any church, but he’s really receptive and even takes the lead. He puts my needs first.”
