Simone Biles’ Triumphant Moment at the Rio Games

She stands only 4’9 and weighs 104 lbs., but Simone Biles‘ diminutive stature was apparently giant when it came to capturing the gold medal in team gymnastics at the 2016 Rio Olympics on Tuesday.  With a score of 184.897, TeamUSA stood eight points ahead of the rest of the field and there was little doubt that they would capture the event and Biles, 19, gave a performance that dazzled the crowd and amazed watchers all over the world.

Besides the team gold, she’s already a three-time all-around gymnastics world champion and is expected to medal several more times in the individual competitions. How’s that for a super-athlete?

Take a look at some photos of her amazing acrobatics.
