The 2018 Soul Train Awards took over BET on Sunday night, paying homage to R&B staples while recognizing the best the genre had to offer over the past 12 months.
Following Jill Scott, Brandy and SWV, Faith Evans received the 2018 Lady of Soul award, presented to Black women for their achievements and contributions to R&B, jazz, hip-hop and gospel music.

H.E.R. was the most nominated artist of the night, taking home two awards, while “Boo’d Up” songstress Ella Mai was the night’s biggest winner, taking home three trophies. Other winners included Drake, Ciara and Ledisi.
