Stars Surprised With McDonald’s World Famous Fries Following Wearable Art Gala

Acclaimed actress Essence Atkins enjoyed McDonald’s World Famous Fries® after representing the brand’s Black & Positively Golden campaign at the WACO Theater 3rd Annual Wearable Art Gala. The campaign highlights all things positive and focuses on stories of truth, power and pride, while celebrating Black excellence through education, empowerment and entrepreneurship.

at the WACO (Where Art Can Occur) Theater Center in Santa Monica, California, were surprised after the star-studded event by McDonald’s USA with World Famous Fries®. McDonald’s partnered with the nonprofit organization, whose mission of empowerment aligns with the brand’s recently launched Black & Positively Golden campaign, created to uplift communities and inspire excellence through education, empowerment and entrepreneurship.
