SZA’s dad loves her music.

On Monday, Abdul Mubarak-Rowem, the father of Grammy-nominated artist SZA, recorded himself on Instagram getting emotional to “Broken Clocks” from her critically acclaimed album CTRL. 

“Every time I hear this song, sweetie, I’m in tears,” said Abdul Mubarak-Rowe in the video posted on his Instagram. “I love your whole album, but this is one of my favorite songs.”

A fan posted the heartwarming video on Twitter and it caught the songbird’s attention.

“Really love u daddy,” she wrote. “Thank u for loving ME! Forever my favorite warrior.”
