T.I. is on Kanye West’s new track “ye vs. the people,” and has challenged the rapper on his support of President Donald Trump.
T.I. stopped by The Breakfast Club on Wednesday and said that during his conversation with West, he realized he doesn’t know anything about politics and Trump’s policies.
“I said, ‘How do you feel about the travel ban?'” he asked. He said West responded with, ‘What’s the travel ban?”
“If you loving this man is hurting all these people, what makes him worth so much love where it’s causing people so much pain?” He said West didn’t have an answer to that and told him it’s something he needs to figure out.
T.I. told the morning show hosts that West has removed himself from issues that affect everyday people.
“He don’t know the things that we know because he’s removed himself from society to the point where it don’t reach him,” he said. “He just started watching CNN.”
The Atlanta rapper also said that West is very serious about running for president one day.
“This man is dead the f*ck serious about running for resident,” he told show host Charlamagne Tha God and company. “Before it was Kanye 2020, now it’s 2024.”
