Hall’s latest project was reportedly in jeopardy due to its ties to producer Harvey Weinstein, who was outed for decades of sexual harassment allegations in an expose by The New York Times last fall. Fortunately, the show has been picked up by Disney/ABC, according to The Huffington Post.
“My new partners appreciate and respect the relationship I’ve built with my audience and know that if we create television worth watching, they’ll join us for the ride,” Hall said in a statement. “I’m so grateful and excited for this next chapter. The landing makes the leap of faith so worth it!”

Hall also described the new show as, “unconventional, fun, intimate and sometimes even raw.”
