Tamron Hall has been hard at work on her new talk show since last year, and she recently told the audience at Rolling Stone’s Women Shaping the Future brunch that she had to make some major staff changes once she realized who she’d be working with every day, Page Six reports.

“When I came to [an early] meeting to discuss my new show . . . there were only men in the room," the mom-to-be shared. "And I had to say, ‘Sorry to tell you, but we are going to have a lot of women on staff. Sorry, but I don’t want to just talk to you men all day. We need some women in here.’’

Hall revealed the premiere date for her highly anticipated talk show earlier this month.

“When one door closes… (say it with me) another one opens! @disney just announced that my nationally syndicated daytime talk show “Tamron Hall” will premiere on 9-9-19! I am also proud to share that I will serve as an Executive Producer on our new show, alongside legendary producer Bill Geddie! See bio for details. #LevelUp #Grateful,” she posted on Instagram.
