The ladies of The Real know they’re far from being the first daytime talk show hosts to have viewers glued to their seats, and today they paid homage to four talk show divas who paved the way for their success.
Hosts Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Jeannie Mai all dressed up and embodied four influential television stars, honoring Oprah Winfrey, Sally Jessy Raphael, Tyra Banks and Ellen DeGeneres, respectively. Check out the Halloween show opener below.
To the their surprise, Sally Jessy Raphael called into the show live to let the ladies know how much she enjoyed the tribute.
“Adrienne, what the heck are you doing?” the former host asked jokingly. “I think you are fabulous! The production of this show is so good, it’s going to get an Emmy!”
Houghton thanked Rapheal, letting her know that The Real had already won an Emmy for Best Daytime Talk Show back in April. Check out the clip below.
