Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was full of bonding and bashing. A day at the gym turned into a bonding experience for Kenya Moore and Claudia Jordan after Claudia revealed that she and her mother were not as close as she’d like to be. This hit home for Kenya, who has a pretty nonexistent relationship with her own mom.

Kandi made plans to put her old house on the market, but was shocked to find that her mother’s new boyfriend had bashed it all up. It went from McMansion to trap house really quick, and neither Kandi nor Todd was happy about it. She quickly got over it after meeting with her two hilarious aunts for some bonding over lunch. They encouraged her to convince her mother Joyce to reach out to Todd’s mom Sharon for a reconciliation. (By now you’ve probably heard the news of Sharon’s passing and the funeral held this weekend.) Here’s to hoping Sharon and Joyce were able to patch things up.

Kandi invited all of the ladies for dinner, and the evening had all the makings of a disaster. Phaedra arrived first and joined Kandi in prayer. No, they didn’t pray over their meal. They prayed that no one ended up dead or in jail that night. Then again, as a funeral director and a lawyer, either situation could’ve be profitable for Phaedra.

Kenya, Cynthia, Nene and Porsha arrived for dinner. Kandi apologized to Kenya for judging her off of the lies spread by Apollo. Nene made it a point to say she had nothing to apologize about, because she never judged her off Apollo’s lies to begin with. Phaedra agreed to wipe the slate clean with Kenya and Porsha, pretty much changing the subject.

Cynthia brought up her friendship with Nene, and that’s when the short-lived bonding session turned into an all-out bash fest. Cynthia and Nene had no idea why they fell out. Nene refused to let Cynthia speak. She explained that she was there for Cynthia when no one else was, and that she considered Cynthia a sister. Nene also said that she felt Peter influenced Cynthia to distance herself. Cynthia attempts a rebuttal, but Nene easily overpowered her. The only thing I got from the entire explosion is that both women are mad and they aren’t sure why.

A sneak peek of next week’s episode shows that Nene and Cynthia finally have a sit down to talk things out. Will they patch it up? We’ll have to tune in to Bravo next Sunday and find out!
