In part two of the General Hospital Wives Married To Medicine reunion, Andy Cohen asked Mariah Huq what she made of chatter that she and Quad Webb were copying Tamar Braxton. You see, between talking in third person and sounding like they have to duct tape down their genitalia down before putting on a dress, the duo do give whiffs of the loudest Braxton.
However, Mariah said in response: “Really? I think that’s absurd. I’ve been like this all my life. I’ve always been over the top, had a big personality. I think that for anyone to feel like they created talking in the third person, they’d have to be from Mars.”
Tamar then took to Twitter to write: “So…u talking about ME on "your" show?? #SHEWON I wont be talking about u on ANY of MY shows!”

In a recent interview, Eve opened up about what it’s like playing the role of stepmom to the children of her longtime boyfriend, Maximillion Cooper. The millionaire has four kids ranging from ages four to 10.
On that transition, Eve acknowledged: “I love it now. It took a minute. I was like, ‘I’m not sure this is what I want to be my life.’ You know? But honestly, it’s been three years now and we’ve gone on vacations together, and they’re the sweetest kids.”

In the latest episode of “Nasty Divorce” starring Porsha Stewart and Kordell Stewart, Kordell is responding to claims that Porsha locked her out of the home they shared by accusing her of trying to victimize herself in an effort to "make herself more marketable in the media.”
His version of events:
“KS says he texted Porsha, telling her he was changing the locks DAYS before he pulled the trigger. He claimed it was for security purposes and added, "If and when you need to get in give me a heads up."
He says he even told his lawyer to get a list from Porsha of everything she needed to gain access to the marital home and he'd be happy to cover it. He added that she could get her belongings whenever she needed.
Kordell also argues that Porsha is a celebrity who makes a ton of cash, but due to her own "financial negligence" finds herself strapped … and living with her mother.”

During his interview on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Tyler Perry told his homegirl that he had an inkling that Whitney Houston was about to join Dorothy Dandridge and Aaliyah in heaven to form an afterlife version of Destiny’s Child if she couldn’t get a greater hold on her addiction
On why he tried very hard to help the fallen singer, Tyler explains: “I felt a huge responsibility for her, for Whitney, herself. From the first day we sat down in that restaurant and had a conversation where she was so open with me, I felt a responsibility to do all I could to help her . . . I sensed, like most people who deal with people who have addiction issues, they sense that there is a ‘death day’ coming.” [Crunk + Disorderly]

In their New York magazine cover story, the interviewer noticed a visibly displeased Fresh Prince when greeted with such a comparison. When asked about what it meant to be the second hip-hop act to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, DMC expressed disappointment over the lack of coverage from hip-hop media.
DMC said: “I was kind of disappointed in the culture of hip-hop, disappointed in MTV and Viacom because Grand Master Flash was first group to be inducted into the Rock Hall and people did not celebrate it. When the press came knocking (for our induction) I said, ‘Before you come talk to me, you need to talk to Grandmaster Flash and spend the next three months talking to them.’ Magazines like the Source, XXL…they should have been the front cover. KeKe Palmer is a grown woman and she can do whatever she wants – including maturing in her music. As KeKe films her role as Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas in the TLC biopic, the singer-actress says she’s also hard at work on new music. Music she feels is a better reflection of where she is at her life at this point.
She tells Kontrol magazine: “I always felt so unheard when I was with Atlantic and when I was with Interscope. I always felt like no one really understood me or got who I was as an artist or really believed in it. Now, I feel like I’m finally being heard and the music that I’m making is more reflective of who I am.”

Kelly Rowland’s “Dirty Laundry” has created quite the stir given the song reveals that the Destiny’s Child singer was involved in an abusive relationship. Speaking with 93.9 WKYS in Washington, D.C., Kelly talked more about the song – and what Beyoncé and Michelle Williams made of it.
On “Dirty Laundry”: “It was the place that I was…I was so young. I was so young, I was in a relationship and my head was completely gone. Sometimes in relationships you think as you are at that age. That’s basically what happened with my sister. What matters to me most is what we have. I love her and Michelle more than anything and I’m so grateful for what we have as sisters…away from Destiny’s Child. I played [‘Dirty Laundry’] for her and Michelle. It was endearing. [Beyoncé said,] ‘I never left,’ which was so sweet and I was just like ‘Oh my God!’ It was endearing and it was real. Our thoughts and prayers go out to André 3000 and family on the loss of his mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo. A representative for the Outkast star confirmed reports that Sharon died in her sleep early Tuesday at her Georgia home – a day after his birthday. She was 58. [The YBF]
