Harris’ daughter, Kamaya, shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram.
Harris had two other children, Avis and Kareem, who memorialized his mother in his own social media tribute.
“I got to spend 38 amazing years with this Angel but today my Mom made her transition to be with the Lord. Cherish your time yall as my mom @preciousharris1913 did! She danced, she loved and most importantly she LIVED.
T.I. has yet to break his silence over the death of his sister. Throughout the week, he shared images of moments spent with Harris, who often appeared on his hit VH1 series T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.
The family shared little about the accident or Harris’ health. She reportedly hit a pole and had an asthma attack during the wreck.
On Valentine’s Day, T.I.’s wife, singer-songwriter Tiny, celebrated her husband for making her happy.
“I can’t thank him enough for going out of his way on such a sad day for him as well! I love you forever & then some @troubleman31 The worst & best Valentine’s Day Ever!” Tiny wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for all prayers pls continue to keep our sister @preciousharris1913 lifted up in prayer!”
