If Tiffany Haddish has proved anything thus far in her career is that “she ready” to work. The comedian is reportedly set to voice a lead role in The LEGO Movie 2 according to Variety.
There are no details on Haddish’s character as of yet. The sequel will be directed by Mike Mitchell and produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Since her breakout role in Girls Trip, Haddish has become the first black female stand-up comedian to host SNL. The West Coast native also released her memoir The Last Black Unicorn. She will star with Tracy Morgan in TBS’ The Last OG and Kevin Hart in Night School. Haddish even found herself a punchline in a Beyonce song. She’s already having quite the year.
The comedian is set to host the MTV Movie & TV Awards this June. The LEGO Movie 2 is scheduled to be released on February 8, 2019.
