Toni Braxton hit back at speculation that she and her fiancé, rap mogul Birdman, have broken their engagement. The R&B legend invited the Cash Money Record co-founder onstage at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on Wednesday night.
Atlanta was Braxton’s first performance on her Long As I Live tour with R&B group SWV.
In a video posted by the Jasmine Brand, Birdman walked out to surprise the audience while the seven-time Grammy winner sang “I Love Me Some Him,” a from her 1996 album, Secrets. The couple held each other in a long embrace.
The gesture came more than two weeks after rumors that the future newlyweds had ended their relationship.
Braxton appeared on TV One’s Sister Circle earlier this week and addressed her missing engagement ring, which she said was lost during a Delta flight.
