‘America’s Next Top Model’ Contestant Brandy Rusher Shot

Former America’s Next Top Model contestant Brandy Rusher was shot, and her brother, Wayne Rusher was killed in a shootout outside a Houston apartment complex Sunday night.

Rusher was a contestant on the popular reality series in 2005 — but she was booted from the show in the third episode of the season.  Rusher recently gave birth to a son named Cohen, who she gushed over frequently on social media.

According to ABC 13, Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland said a feud prompted the bloody attack, which began with an argument and ended when a car reportedly pulled into a northeast Houston apartment complex and fired off rounds with a high powered rifle. Two people were killed and four others were shot, but police have yet to identify the victims.

Officials say a manhunt is underway for the suspects described as heavy set Black men in their early 30s. They were last seen driving away from the scene in a white, four-door vehicle.

Rusher, 32, is in critical but stable condition.
