EXTRA co-host Tracey Edmonds is leaving behind the syndicated newsmagazine and returning to her creative roots. As the CEO of Edmonds Entertainment Group Inc. and COO of Our Stories Films, Edmonds has produced everything from the 1997 classic Soul Food to the 2011 romantic comedy, Jumping the Broom. Still, returning to her role as producer isn’t the only thing Edmonds has up her sleeve.

The businesswoman and mother of two is also launching a brand new wellness site on June 15th! Alrightworld.com will explore a plethora of topics on her new site including fitness, nutrition, parenting, and career. The site will focus on TRANSMITTING tools to help you be THE BEST YOU. Alrightworld.com  is all about helping you make positive changes in the way you EAT, THINK, FEEL, AND LIVE! You can keep up with AlrightWorld on their Youtube page AlrightTV.

In addition to Alrightworld.com, Edmonds’ new projects will include End of the Road and Invisible Life.

EXTRA has been renewed through 2019, and though Edmonds’ co-hosts Mario Lopez and Charissa Thompson are staying on as co-anchors, there are no plans in the works to replace her. Edmonds made the choice to leave before news of widespread layoffs across Telepictures Productions came to light.

For more information about Edmonds’ exciting new ventures, you can follow her personal Instagram and Twitter pages at @Traceyeedmonds as well as AlrightWorld’s handles at @alrightworld on IG and @alrighttv on Twitter.

We’re so excited that Edmonds is returning to producing full-time, we can’t wait to see what she has on her slate next.
