While the thought of a supermodel having plastic surgery isn’t far-fetched, fans of media mogul Tyra Banks may not know the America’s Next Top Model creator has had a bit of work done herself.

In a new interview with People, Banks keeps it real about beauty standards and how they affect self-esteem.

“Natural beauty is unfair. I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves.”

In her upcoming memoir, Perfect Is Boring, Banks admits that she had a nose job over 20 years ago.

“I had bones in my nose that were growing and itching. I could breathe fine, but I added cosmetic surgery. I admit it! Fake hair, and I did my nose. I feel I have a responsibility to tell the truth.”

Banks also shared her thoughts on the “no makeup” movement, saying women shouldn’t feel ashamed of rocking a full face if they need or want to.

“We place a lot of emphasis on that,” she says. “As a model, I needed makeup. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. It leveled my playing field. Gisele, you don’t need it? I do! And we’re both modeling for Victoria’s Secret.”
