Atlanta crooner Usher and wife of two years, Grace Miguel, have decided to separate, according to a statement released by the pair.
The statement cements their friendship while conceding they mutually agreed to go their separate ways.
“After much thought and consideration, we have mutually decided to separate as a couple. We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.”
Miguel is also the “Nice & Slow” singer’s manager. There’s no word as to how their separation will affect their working relationship.
This is Usher’s second marriage. He married celebrity stylist Tameka Foster in 2007, divorcing in 2009. Raymond and Foster share two children.
