Usher’s $20M Herpes Lawsuit Settled Out of Court

Singer and Songwriter Usher attended the 2nd Annual V103 Winterfest Concert on December 10th 2016 at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia - USA

Laura Helm’s lawsuit claiming singer Usher knowingly exposed her to herpes has been dismissed after both parties reach an “amiable resolution” via private settlement. TMZ reports the specific terms have not been released.

Helm was among the people, several women and one man, who accused the “Moving Mountains” singer of exposing them to the STD back in 2017.
She initially sued for $10 million before emotional harm and punitive damages brought that sum up to $20 million, The Root reports.
