Alaya High, 11, better known as Lay Lay, landed a recording contract with EMPIRE. The internet sensation is known for her quick-witted freestyles from the front seat of her father’s car.
The Atlanta native took to Instagram to make the announcement Wednesday night. “It’s official!!! I am the YOUNGEST FEMALE RAP ARTIST to sign a record deal,” she wrote. High thanked her fans, the label, her DJ and her dad for making the achievement possible.
