Wendy Raquel Robinson and her husband of 15 years, Marco Perkins, will soon be calling it quits, as Perkins filed paperwork for the dissolution of their marriage last Friday, according to TMZ.
The couple married in 2003 and have no minor children together. They met in 2000 when Wendy hosted an NBA playoff party at her home, according to a 2012 interview with Essence.
“I can honestly say he’s my best friend,” Robinson said at the time. “We won’t let more than two weeks go by without being together and seeing each other… he is the communicator in the relationship. He loves to talk and he loves to work it out, whereas sometimes I agree to disagree. Usually he’s like, ‘No, we have to talk this out.’ So I love that about him. He doesn’t let me go into my shell.”
