Wendy Williams admitted Tuesday on her daytime talk show that she is living in a sober house, revealing that her husband, Kevin Hunter, was the only person who knew before she made the televised announcement.

Hunter has now shared his thoughts on his wife’s journey toward sobriety, telling Entertainment Tonight on Thursday that the 54-year-old media maven is doing well and that they are working through her issues as a family.

“Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves."

The couple recently launched their own drug abuse hotline, 1-888-5HUNTER. Williams didn't say exactly what substance she joined the facility to address, but has admittedly suffered from cocaine addiction in the past.

Hunter continued, “It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this a family process … and we are dealing with it and moving forward.”

Love B Scott reported in December that Hunter allegedly has a child on the way with a mistress, the stress of which could have possibly led Williams to relapse. Hunter and the former radio shock jock deny this report.
