According to the 2023 report, Etsy’s searches for walnut desks and accessories have increased by 337% among its users. As the desire for woods like walnut, teak, and mahogany ramp up, Johnson feels that the utilization of darker woods not only adds warmth and coziness to a space but also imbues it with a sense of character and sophistication.
Parisian Interiors
Over the last three months, searches for wall mirrors increased by 119%, marble sinks by 96% and custom oil paintings by 67%. The common denominator is that all of these items are characteristics of a classic Parisian interior. The French-inspired aesthetic is characterized by objects that are fabulous in nature with vintage appeals. Mermaidcore
As we gear up for Halle Bailey’s starring role in the highly anticipated Little Mermaid film, we can bring some of that Disney-like magic into our homes. Etsy reports that they’ve seen a 125% search increase for scalloped runners, while searches for oyster and shell ring dishes have gone up by 30%. As more and more people opt for sea-inspired themes in their homes, it shows that we can all use a bit more sparkle in our lives.
